Stick Note Poem (2019?)
In fading day
On shining night
An opera plays
True loves delight
Through aging time
Day to day
We loose our prime
With swift dismay
Still in face
Love is a masquerade
Yet unstable in pace
Like mercury retrograde
He aches in envy
She connects to another
Like repeating history
Why even bother
Sit and stare
A game of cat and mouse
But is she aware
He wants her to be his spouse
Like setting sun
The sky gives no lend
A web she has spun
Maybe his very end
He sits in ponder
Scared to act
She bathes in wonder
Waiting to react
Just like souths
They can never touch
Until open mouths
His feel is not much
When eyes smile
In pure heart
No mere mile
Can tear them apart
A taste of bliss
Kind like wind
A soft kiss
Is all that can mend
